FAD students recently gained rare insights into the inner workings of a global fashion giant during an engaging masterclass with Giulio Dal Dosso, Finance & Operations Director at Hugo Boss.


Dal Dosso began by dissecting the brand's dual approach: BOSS, tailored for Millennials with modern tailoring and elevated streetwear, and HUGO, designed for Gen Z with bold, trend-driven designs and accessible pricing. This strategy, he explained, is key to Hugo Boss’s adaptability and competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.


The session also spotlighted the company’s ambitious CLAIM 5 strategy, a roadmap to position Hugo Boss as a tech-driven, premium fashion platform. Dal Dosso detailed the plan’s five pillars: Product is King, Boost Brands, Lead in Digital, Rebalance Omnichannel, and Organise for Growth, emphasizing its focus on innovation and long-term financial goals for 2025.


By highlighting the strategic and operational depth behind one of fashion’s most iconic brands, Dal Dosso left students inspired and better equipped to navigate the complexities of the global fashion industry.
