Students gain exclusive insights into Louis Vuitton’s merchandising, operations, and customer experience during a visit to the Dubai Mall flagship.



At FAD, industry exposure is key to preparing students for real-world challenges. Recently, FAD Talents had the opportunity to visit the Louis Vuitton flagship store in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, gaining exclusive insights into the brand's luxury operations.



The visit, hosted by Ellen Groves (Retail Learning Manager), Maeva Olympio (Merchandising Manager), and Flora Chou, featured a walkthrough of the store’s distinct sections, including womenswear, menswear, and jewellery. Students experienced Louis Vuitton’s approach to curating a luxurious shopping environment.



The highlight was a masterclass where students learned about Louis Vuitton’s global operations, from exclusive pop-ups to the art of curating a diverse product mix. They explored how the brand blends innovation with heritage, creating timeless designs that resonate with modern trends.



This visit provided valuable insights into luxury retail strategies, highlighting the importance of merchandising, customer experience, and strategic planning at a global level. It’s experiences like these that equip FAD Talents with the skills and knowledge for a successful career in the luxury fashion industry.
